YOU MUST READ THE LUXE SERIES! THEY ARE AMAZING! I haven't gotten the fourth one, but the other three are so awesome.
Read the Notebook, liked the movie WAY better. I like the Notebook's sequel better: The Wedding. A midsummer's Night Dream is just hilarious. My 7th grade class read it and it was easily my favorite Shakespeare play.

Great list!
Federicacoccinellerouge on March 11th, 2010 04:07 pm (UTC)
That's great! I am glad to hear your liked the series, I was catched by the covers which are absolutely gorgeous!

Most of the Shakespeare's books are for my english literature course at university, but I love Shakespeare and I will surely love them all! :)

Oh yeah, they are pretty goods!
I am currently reading Definitely Dead but (unfortunately) when I start reading a series that I enjoy I must finish all the books, that's why they are on my to-read list.
Anyway my favourite one is Dead to the World, very, very good.

I love Wilde! I have read only The Picture of Dorian Gray quite a lot ago, but he is one of my favourite writer and historical man of all times.

Love your icon, anyway ♥
bel1982 on March 11th, 2010 03:55 pm (UTC)
Fantastic list. A lot of the books are also on my "to read" list. :)
Federicacoccinellerouge on March 11th, 2010 04:14 pm (UTC)
I am glad you liked!
It was quite difficult to find 50 titles, I started with the 25 which were on my to-read list but then I have discovered such many interesting books!

Maryemme86 on March 11th, 2010 04:02 pm (UTC)

Fight Club and Choke are amazing books! I've re-read Choke god knows how many times now.
Federicacoccinellerouge on March 11th, 2010 04:15 pm (UTC)
Really? I have always heard things about this Palahniuk, but I have never read anything.
I am sure he deserves a try!

A Thousand Splendid Suns is a beautiful moving story.
I used to work at a bookstore & must have personally sold about 50 copies of it, I recommended it that much.

The Notebook - a MILLION times better than the movie.
My Sisters Keeper - A heartbreaking story but definitely worth a read...

And those are the only one's I have read on this list & they are some of my favourites.
Federicacoccinellerouge on March 11th, 2010 04:47 pm (UTC)
Oh, I would really love to work in a bookstore! ♥

I am glad to hear your liked them, that make my purpose more bearable! (50 books are really a lot for me 'cause I have always to study for 10 university exams too *_*)
shiannsnb123 on March 11th, 2010 04:21 pm (UTC)
Memming this cause I want to read like half of these! Othello and Hamlet are pretty nutso, but I bet you'll like them! And I totally love A Midsummer Night's Dream! And Hush Hush sounds really good!
Federicacoccinellerouge on March 11th, 2010 04:48 pm (UTC)
All Shakespeare's books are for my english literature course at uni, I must read them, but I love english literature so I think I am gonna enjoy them or at least I hope so! :D

Memorie di una Geisha è meraviglioso! A me è piaciuto da morire :)))!
E...Haruki Murakami *_________* Hai mai letto "Dance dance dance?"
Federica: Serenacoccinellerouge on March 11th, 2010 05:30 pm (UTC)

Haruki Murahami! I love his works! What books of his have you read?

And I'm going to be reading Shutter Island very soon. I just want to finish up Odd Girl Out before doing so.
Federica: Leighton // Blaircoccinellerouge on March 11th, 2010 05:33 pm (UTC)
I have never read anything of Murakami, but I have read so many beautiful reviews about his work that I felt almost obliged to add something to my to-read list!

I am curious about Shutter Island too! I have heard about the movie but I didn't know there was a book!
It should be very interesting!

A Thousand Slpendid Suns is SUCH an amazing book. I love it. It's really deep, touching, emotional. And so well written. I loved it. And cried like a baby.
Federicacoccinellerouge on March 11th, 2010 09:01 pm (UTC)
Oh, I am used to crying with book.
I am probably too emotional :D

Federicacoccinellerouge on March 12th, 2010 02:09 pm (UTC)
:)
I have already read the whole LotR trilogy and absolutely loved it.
Tolkien was such a genius!
I am sure the Hobbit will be great too!
Kitorin: arthur-merlin no hugkitoky on March 12th, 2010 12:52 am (UTC)
Highly, highly recommend The Hobbit, The Reader, Hamlet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Tales of Beetle the Bard! Hope you get around to reading all of those!! :DDDD The list looks fantastic!

But just a head's up, the challenge criteria requires: "Naturally, these picspams will all be long but we ask that for each number you have at least three images."
Federica: Evie Lillycoccinellerouge on March 12th, 2010 02:11 pm (UTC)
I really hope so too!

Oh my, really?
I am so sorry, I really missed that :(
I hope that wouldn't be a problem for the moderators, I would be very sorry!

I must check it out soon!

!YAY! for books. :D
My sister reades the Luxe series and really loves it.
Mid-Summer and Tempest are my two FAVORITE Shakespeare plays. I definitely think you'll love them.
The Notebook was the first book to make me cry. Its movie is awesome and actually one of my favorite movies (which is rare for movies made from books), and the book is even better.
I haven't gotten around to reading LOTR, but I read The Hobbit before the movies came out. Definitely a great one.
Beedle the Bard is pretty entertaining. I bought the fancy collector's edition. XP
Federica: Serenacoccinellerouge on March 12th, 2010 02:16 pm (UTC)
:D
I am glad to hear that!
All Shakespeare plays are for my english literature course, but I love that course so I am sure I am going to enjoy the books as well! :)

Yay for the Notebook, Sparks is just a good writer, love his style.
About Tolkien I have read LotR and I absolutely loved it. If you are a fan or if you have enjoyed the movies you really have to check it out.

Beedle the Bard is on the list just because my huge love for the HP series, but I have heard lots of good comments so I absolutely have to check it out!

"Remains of the Day" is lovely.
Federicacoccinellerouge on March 12th, 2010 02:17 pm (UTC)
That's great!
I have to read it for my english course but since I have loved Never Let me Go I am sure I am going to enjoy it too :)

Glad you liked! :D

LOVE Jonathan Safran Foer. [Please] Read 'Eating Animals' by him as well! I didn't like Harris's vampire books much. She uses the words "exasperated" & "matter-of-fact" way too often (lol) and her writing is pretty simplistic. I suggest 'Let the Right One In' rather than Harris's books. I want to read Rick Riordan's books as well :) I'm currently reading The Metamorphosis by Kafka.
Federicacoccinellerouge on March 12th, 2010 02:19 pm (UTC)
That's a good advice :)
I have started the Harris series and unfortunately when I start a series I have to finish it :P That's quite annoying, I know!

Pat/Pearl♥pearlescent_48 on March 14th, 2010 01:27 pm (UTC)
STRONGLY RECOMMEND My Sister's Keeper, The Notebook, The Reader AND The Luxe Series!!!
You've got lots of great choices of books here! :]
Federicacoccinellerouge on March 15th, 2010 01:33 pm (UTC)

I must comment! I have an absurd love for reading so this picspam makes me happy happy happy!

I haven't read The Van Alen Legacy yet but i love the rest of the series!

I've read every.single.book in the Sookie Stackhouse series and they are so amazingly addictive!

Midsummer Nights Dream was my 2nd favorite Shakespeare play!

The Notebook ♥♥♥ I read the book after seeing the movie but it was still really enjoyable! I'd definitely recommend checking out the next book - The Wedding - as well =]
Federicacoccinellerouge on March 15th, 2010 09:03 pm (UTC)
Thanks for your comment!
I love talking about books, I am addicted to reading! :)

Thanks for your thoughts, too, I enjoyed Blue Bloods so I am quite curious about the rest of the series.
Unfortunately I have to read so many books for university :(
I hope I will find time for these ones too!

Comunque... Prima di tutto... MURAKAMI!! Yay! E il libro è bellissimo quindi bella scelta (Hard Boiled...)! Fammi sapere quando lo leggi! E The Luxe series è stupenda <3 <3 Soprattutto il primo e il quarto!
The Importance of Being Earnest lo sto insegnando adesso a scuola, e lo amo! Hai visto il film?
E la serie di True Blood <3 <3 ! E' stupenda! Ohh e My Sister's Keeper e Sherlock Holmes! Stupendi!
Haha non conosco nessuno che abbia letto le Cronache del Mondo Emerso a parte me, a me sono piaciuti tanto! :)

Federicacoccinellerouge on April 20th, 2010 10:54 pm (UTC)
Sono contenta che ti piaccia!! :)

E mi dispiace perchè ho ADORATO Never let me go (e ci faranno anche un film, lo sapevi? Con Keira Knightley! ♥ http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1334260/ )
